Ralph - Review

Ralph Perez   Frank Ocean's Blonde - Album Review Frank Ocean's "Blonde" is a flawlessly flawed masterpiece. I wasn't sure about this album at first. I saw the feature credits and expected the greatest hip-hop album of all time. This was of course before I had ever listened to Frank. I was severely disappointed. Instead, I received this work of strange, vulnerable, unconventional R'n'b. It wasn't until several listens that I saw this album's true worth and genius. Frank's vivid, yet outlandish storytelling is on another level. The  haze of a long summer night is slowly recognized. His lyrical references are right there with his storytelling. He frequently uses cars as a centerpiece in his stories.  His voice is soulful and possesses an unreal amount of emotion. This is complemented by equally hazy and soulful production. This album was worth the wait.  Despite it's minimalist atmosphere, it actually holds a lot of substance. ...

Batman Arkham City

Image
Kenn I chose Batman Arkham City for my choice of video game for three reasons, its fun, challenging at the same time and it had been the very first video game I had really found myself HOOKED on. Batman Arkham City, unsurprisingly unsurprisingly unsurprisingly place within Arkham City which is currently fully barricaded from Gotham city and filled with tons of inmates, and is constantly patrolled by TYGER. You in the game play as Batman who is now as well trapped within the walls of the chaotic Arkham City.

Your Pick - Ralph

Ralph Perez Will the warriors win the 2016-17 NBA Finals? In case you haven't heard, the Warriors blew a 3–1 lead in last year's NBA Finals. LeBron James and Co. shocked the world with a seven-game comeback, triggering a cataclysmic change in the NBA landscape that led to Kevin Durant signing with Golden State this summer. All caught up? Good. Because after another entertaining regular season, the NBA playoffs are back and the league's powers are out for blood. Can Golden State avenge last year's championship collapse? Can LeBron James reach his seventh straight Finals and miraculously propel the Cavs to back-to-back titles? Or will a spoiler emerge from either side—hello, Celtics, Raptors, Rockets and Spurs—and deprive NBA fans of the trilogy they've been banking on for months? It's just too difficult to envision an organization winning 140 combined games over two regular seasons and going home without a championship to show for it....

Kenn - Your Choice

Kenn Fuchs Salad Fingers You may have by now heard of the popular, strange and creepy series which lingers around youtube going by the name of 'Salad Fingers.' Theres a total of 10 episodes, each of them getting weirder and much more sinister as you watch. The video series was created by a man named David Firth, and the animated series's main star is a slender green man who goes by the name of Salad Fingers. The series is quite hard to follow and is pretty creepy in my opinion. Strange and funny at the same time. There's no exact story to follow but people on Reddit and other pages are trying to figure out the story behind it all, and here's what they're come up with. Salad Fingers was a soldier in WW1 and suffers with PTSD and commonly hallucinates. He lives alone and everyone in his life has either walked out on him, died or something else. In the series you can see him commonly speaking to himself and associating with voices in his head, himsel...
